Ikagu Shrine

Ikagu Shrine is located in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, and is known as a famous cherry blossom viewing spot. About 70 double-flowered cherry trees are lined on both sides of the 100-meter approach to the shrine, and when in full bloom, they create a tunnel of flowers to welcome worshippers. When they are in full bloom, the cherry blossoms are lit up at night, creating a fantastic atmosphere that is different from the daytime.
